Things I love about my girls

Love watching Carleigh dance
Love listening to her "talk back" to the TV
Love the way she puts her arm around my neck when she is laying with me at night.
Love when she hugs me, she pats my back
She tries to whisper to me and makes no sense
Love how she "shakes her booty"
She loves to cuddle
She loves to make people laugh
Love when she sleeps on my chest (except for when it is numerous nights in a row)
She's 2.5 and could care less about going potty on the potty.

Love watching how Jillian takes care of Carleigh and how much they love each other.
Love the fact that Jillian loves to listen to me read.
She has her first crush on Ross Lynch "Austin" from Austin &Ally ( and Kingston too)
Loves stretchy pants but not jeans
Would rather be naked than anything else
Loves movies, doing crafts, baking and running around (just like her Granny & Nana)
If she gets sick it's for a few hours instead of days like most people
Her memory absolutely astounds me!
She has been singing Firework by Katie Perry at the top of her lungs over and over again. It is so funny, but after awhile annoys Chris
Has lost her 2 bottom teeth
Got glasses around Thanksgiving and has done a great job wearing them and taking care of them
She is very sensitive.
Woke up last night, late, and hollered for us. Chris went to her and all she wanted was for him to turn up her radio because Austin was on. It had to have been around midnight!!

I love how they know to turn off TV when it's time to eat & they know that we almost always sit together for dinner!
Jillian is the mother hen, Carleigh is the funny one (although Jillian is quite comical in her own rite).
I love how they love their daddy. It's so special to me that they love him!!

I'm not doing too well at blogging anymore. I got a new laptop for Christmas and thought maybe I would get better because my other one was so slow. But that hasn't been the case.
We have been so busy recently & I think this is the first weekend we haven't ran too much.

Jillian joined Girl Scouts in November. She doesn't like it too much. She finally broke down and told me this past week that she wants to quit. I was torn because I feel like I am letting her down as a parent for letting her quit, but on the other hand, she was so upset about telling me, I don't want her to think she can't tell me things like this. I think the meetings are too boring for her. She is in school for 8 hrs & then goes to a GS meeting & it seems like to school to her again for an hour. I think she (I guess me too)thought it would be more fun & so far it hasn't been. We did go to Marsh last weekend and sell cookies there, which she seemed to enjoy. And this coming weekend, on Saturday we go see Pinkalicious with the troop at Beef and Boards and Sunday, we are selling cookies again. So, maybe she will change her mind if they start doing things that are more fun. I told her she has to stay in it until at least the cookie selling part is over, which is the second week of March. Hopefully, she will be able to stick it out until then. She says she wants to do tumbling, so I am going to look for a place to do that for awhile at least. We don't care what she does, as long as she is active doing something! And we will not let her quit everything she starts, Girls Scouts will be the only thing.

Carleigh switched rooms at daycare and I think it has been a good switch. Her teacher tells me everyday how funny she is and she is always making them laugh. She is definitely the comedian of the family. She has become quite attached to me though and if I'm not home one night, she doesn't sleep through the night and wants to sleep with me. Which I normally end up giving in. I figure she won't be this age for ever. And I know with her being my second, this phase will end. Jillian used to be the worlds worst sleeper & now she sleeps wonderfully!!

Chris and I are doing well. Hoping this year will be much better than last year! The death of Rick and other drama, put our relationship to a test. We are both staying pretty busy at work and the girls keep us busy and on our toes. We are waiting for our tax check to finally be deposited and looking forward to some warm weather!!

Boring blog, but at least I did it. :)
