Things that Jillian has done that makes me laugh in the past few months,
Told me "yes ma'am" and saluted me.
Begs to stay awake longer. She negotiates it actually "mom, I'll settle down, i won't talk, I'll be quiet, please mommy, please mommy."
sat up with her legs crossed & lectured me on how I didn't cover her up well enough one night with her hands flying in the air.
at volleyball game she kept waving her finger at me & standing with her hip cocked out telling me that she was a big girl. and she could do what ever she wanted to do.
she was laying in the bed with carleigh. i told jillian to come to the end of the bed to get dressed. she told carleigh "I'll be right back carleigh. i have to get dressed. i know you like me honey, i like you too, but i have to get dressed. I'll be right back.
she told Carleigh she had to go eat. Carleigh must have asked her where she was going because Jillian told her it would be ok, she would just eat in bed & not go anywhere.
She has been telling me that she doesn't want to be at school because she has to take naps & she doesn't like taking naps. She is constantly telling me she doesn't want to sleep.
She plays with our ears when she is sleepy (one of my absolute favorite things about her)
She was grooming her rocking horse with a wet wash cloth & her comb. At first her name was Katie. Now it is Runner Fast. When I said I thought that sounded like an Indian name, she said "No, mommy, it is a horses name." Duh, mommy!
I was talking to her at dinner one night & she told me "Mommy, I don't know what you are talking about." With her hand up in the air like "what the heck??" Chris could barely keep himself from laughing out loud.
In the car, if Carleigh is starting to get upset, she will do whatever she can to try to calm her down. Tonight she was saying "dada, dada. momma, momma. jillian, jillian." Or she will act like she is going to sneeze to get Carleigh to laugh.
When Carleigh does something new, Jillian gets so excited & hollars for Chris & I to look at her. And she always tells Carleigh what a good job she is doing.
She is very into family right now. She wants the family to do everything together. Favorite thing to do is cuddle on the couch with her family.
I told her before we went to the video store that she was NOT getting candy & that we were only getting a movie. She understood, but when we got there she said "mommy, i changed my mind. I just want candy now." That didn't happen.
I love to listen to her laugh at movies. I just love the fact that she understands the movie.
She has been telling me a lot that I am cute. But she has also been telling me I am mean whenever she doesn't get her way.
chris figured out that when she says she misses her nana, that is pretty much her way of not telling us she is tired even though she is.
I should write down everyday what she says that cracks me up. These are just a few...I could go on & on. I will have to keep track of more.
